Mulayam Singh's Daughter-In-Law Falls Into Trouble For Dancing To Ghoomar From Padmavati

Mulayam Singh's Daughter-In-Law Falls Into Trouble For Dancing To Ghoomar From Padmavati

In the video, Aparna, who is married to Mulayam's younger son Prateek Yadav, can be seen taking centre stage and dancing to the song Ghoomar with a group of women in traditional Rajasthani style.

The Rajput Karni Sena has waged a war against Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati, for allegedly distorting history and now, Samajvadi Party's patriarch, Mulayam Singh Yadav's daughter-in-law, Aparna Yadav has made them upset by performing on Ghoomar song from the movie, at a private ceremony.

The song had received millions of views as soon it was officially released. Why did she have to perform on a song that has angered the entire Rajput community?

Aparna Yadav danced at a family occasion on the engagement ceremony of her brother Aman Bisht at a five-star hotel in Lucknow. The film is banned in a couple of states in the country. We will send them the original Ghoomar song and other Rajasthani folk songs if they like it so much.: "Lokendra Singh Kalvi, Karni Sena on Aparna Yadav". After Deepika, Aparna Yadav is the target of fringe elements.

"It is sad that a prominent political family's member has chosen to behave in such fashion. It is as if she is trying to tease us and rub salt in our wounds", a leader of the Shree Rajput Karni Sena said while talking to Times Now. The film makers have denied the existence of any such scene.

The movie was supposed to be released on December 1 but that has now been deferred.
