Dragon's Crown Pro trailer reveals release in the West

We've known for a while now that Dragon's Crown would be getting a remaster treatment in the form of Dragon's Crown Pro, but a western release was not immediately confirmed.

This remaster of 2013 2-D hack and slash action game from Vanillaware will be returning to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro in 2018 for $49.99 Dollars and $64.99 CAD.

To recap, Dragon's Crown Pro is mostly a visual and audio update, featuring 4K resolution support, a newly recorded soundtrack via live orchestra, cross-play with the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita versions (w/ save data importing) and dual audio support.

You can find the announcement video for the Western release of Dragon's Crown below. Today, they've announced that Dragon's Crown Pro will be coming to the West as well and it should be here sometime this Spring. The original Storyteller Voice Pack DLC from the title's original release will also come packed with this version of the game. The game can support four player co-op in both local and online play, and comes drawn in Vanillaware's signature style.

As with the original release, Dragon's Crown Pro features groups of heroes that face terrible challenges in the labyrinthine dungeons surrounding the medieval fantasy kingdom of Hydeland.

Dragon's Crown Pro will be available to play hands-on at PlayStation Experience 2017 in Anaheim on December 9 and December 10.
