Kult Ambition smartphone with 13MP camera launched at Rs 5999

Kult is one of those brands and has launched quite a few decent smartphones priced under Rs. 10,000 price range.

The company has priced the Kult Ambition smartphone at Rs 5,999 and it will be exclusively available on Amazon, starting December 11. The phone comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels. "We are dedicated to offer products that promise high reliability and compelling experience at a competitive price, and Kult Ambition is best suited to the needs of Indian youth who is a 24x7 digital native seeking to serve all his personal, entertainment and information needs through his device", said Nitesh Gupta, director, New Product Development at Kult while commenting on the launch. As for storage, the phone offers a 32GB internal memory capacity that is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The processor seems to be a letdown, but Kult has managed to add 3GB of RAM at such low price. In the camera department, the Kult Ambition sports a 13MP sensor on the rear and a 5MP sensor on the front for selfies and video calls. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.

The Kult Ambition weighs 160 grams and runs on the Android Nougat 7.0 OS.

At the price of Rs 5,999, the Kult Ambition goes against the Xiaomi Redmi 5A, but the latter comes with 2GB of RAM and available at a price of Rs 4,999.
