Micromax Launches Front Dual Camera phone Canvas Infinity Pro

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with 4GB RAM.

The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and features a 5.7-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. But the Infinity Pro is offering no upgrade despite a hike in price could be met with disappointment. Micromax has claimed that they are giving consumers a power packed device which is a ideal confluence of an exemplary display, superlative dual cameras at an extremely attractive price.

In terms of the photo capabilities, the company has included a dual camera setup on the front of the phone with 20MP and 8MP sensors and an LED flash.

Following the success of Canvas Infinity - the company's first smartphone with FullView display featuring 18:9 aspect ratio screen - the Indian smartphone maker launched a premium successor to the budget phone. Now, the homegrown company has launched yet another smartphone called Canvas Infinity Pro. There is also a 64GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD.

Similar to the Canvas Infinity (review), the Micromax Canvas Infinity is equipped with a fingerprint scanner that is touted to unlock the screen in 0.2 seconds and can accept fingerprints with a 360-degree acceptance angle.

We are pleased that we are joining hands with Flipkart yet again as this would help us reach out to the young, hyper social consumers. It is powered by a 3,000mAh battery that is claimed to deliver standby time of 420 hours, music playback of up to 22 hours and video playback of up to 6 hours. The USP of the smartphone was its Galaxy S8-like infinity display.

Coming to the camera department, the device features a 16MP primary camera with an LED flash. The users can take screenshots that are up to 10 pages long at one go with the magic of three fingers.

The Micromax Canvas Infinity has been priced at Rs. 13,999 and will be available in Black colour option exclusively from Flipkart starting from December 6. The pricing of the phone is certainly higher than the Rs. 9,999 Canvas Infinity, which raises the question is it worth the hike?
