President Trump Says He Believes Robert Mueller's Russia Investigation Will 'Be Fair'

It looks like the investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 election, and the Trump campaign's potential ties to the country, won't be coming to an end with 2017.

"There's been no collusion".

"I have said since day one, since he was appointed, he's bad news", Gohmert (R-Texas) said.

President Trump's lawyers predict the investigation will wrap up soon.

President Trump talked up the new tax plan while visiting firefighters in Florida, but based on recent tweets, the Russian Federation investigation is what's really at the forefront of his mind. Some of the Justice Department employees who worked on the investigation of Clinton's use of a private email server while she was secretary of state - which ultimately concluded with a recommendation against criminal charges - were later detailed to the Trump inquiry. "We are now beginning to understand the magnitude of this insider bias on Mr. Mueller's team".

Sixteen times during the interview, Trump repeated "no collusion" had been discovered as a result of the investigation, and maintained that Democrats concocted the allegations "as a hoax, as a ruse, as an excuse for losing an election". Podesta has not been charged with a crime.

He told the Times that "for purposes of hopefully thinking I´m going to be treated fairly, I´ve stayed uninvolved with this particular matter".

The 30-minute interview took place at Trump's golf course in West Palm Beach, Fla., after lunch with his playing partners, including his son Eric and pro-golfer Jim Herman, the Times reported.

"I have absolute right to do what I want to do with the Justice Department", Trump said.
