Prince Harry interviews Barack Obama for upcoming radio show

Prince Harry and former President Barack Obama had some fun banter before their interview on BBC Radio 4's "Today" program, the BBC reported.

"Do I need a British accent?"

Prince Harry has described how he felt in his new role: "You're excited about this".

The interview was recorded in Toronto in September 2017 during the Invictus Games.

The video has immediately gone viral, with many saying they "miss" Barack Obama and enjoy the new "bromance". Obama interrupts, shooting a smirk at the prince.

Then, after the prince demonstrated what he meant, Obama said: 'I don't want to see that face'.

Kensington Palace says that the conversation will deal with Obama's memories of his time in office as well as his plans for post-presidential life.

The prince and former president have been friends for several years. Before Toronto, previous Games were held in London and Orlando, Florida.

Prince Harry said he was "nervous" about interviewing the former U.S. president. Harry enlisted his grandmother, the Queen, for his comical response. The interview focuses on their shared interest in building platforms for the next generation of young leaders.

In addition to the December 27 broadcast, Kensington Palace said the interview will also be released as a podcast.
