The Rock To Receive Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Johnson will be honored in the motion-picture category by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. "We envision scores of photos being taken at his star by his fans".

The Jumanji sequel also stars Karen Gillian, Kevin Hart and Jack Black.

Dwayne Johnson is on fire. Johnson responded by tweeting a heartfelt and grateful message, and then he (jokingly?) added that he'd be providing tequila.

This year alone, he starred in three huge movies. His other credits include Central Intelligence, the Fast and the Furious film franchise and Moana.

Besides the flicks, the Rock also stars in HBO's Ballers, which is produced by his own Seven Bucks Productions.

A former star player for the Miami Hurricanes college football team, The Rock joined the WWF in 1996 and quickly became one of the most electrifying superstars in the industry.

Johnson will receive his star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame on December 13, at a ceremony scheduled to run from 11:30 a.m.to 12:00 p.m. PT at 6801 Hollywood Blvd., in front of Hollywood and Highland.

"Johnson penned an autobiography, The Rock Says, which reached #1 on the New York TimesBestseller List shortly after its publication in January 2000".
