Trump Will Undergo Physical Exam After Slurring Through Speech

After President Donald Trump appeared to slur several words during a speech on Wednesday, the White House downplayed the episode on Thursday but promised that the results of the president's next routine presidential physical will be made public.

Yesterday (Thursday), US President Donald Trump held the traditional lighting of the candle ceremony for Hanukkah in the White House.

Shah defended Trump's decision on Jerusalem, saying "We think that the decision to recognise reality, and recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is the right decision".

"Hanukkah is a time for Jewish families around the world to celebrate the miracles of the past and promises of the future", Trump said. "We are proud to stand with the people of Israel and renew our enduring bond".

"Well, I know for a fact there are a lot of happy people in this room", he said. Trump, 71, is the oldest US president at this point in his tenure. "But they lit them in their hearts". "You do have faith and you do have resilience", Trump said.

On stage with the president were First Lady Melania Trump, Trump's daughter, Ivanka, his son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner, his grandchildren, Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen Pence, Holocaust survivor Louise Lawrence-Israels, and Orthodox Rabbi Meir Soloveichik.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, Secretary of Veteran Affairs David Schulman and Trump's special Middle East peace envoy Jason Greenblatt, who are all Jewish, also attended.

Mrs. Sanders said the administration is "especially pleased to see the manufacturing sector roaring back to life, adding a total of 159,000 jobs since President Trump took office after averaging a loss of more than 1,000 jobs per month during the a year ago of the previous administration".

According to the White House press pool, Hanukkah decorations were not also visible at the party, but just four large Christmas trees were.
