20-Year-Old Florida Man Claims $451M Mega Millions Jackpot

A 20-year-old Florida man claimed the $451 million Mega Millions jackpot on Friday, choosing to get $282 million at once instead of more in annual installments.

Missler will actually pocket $281,874,999.00 after taking the lump-sum payment for his winning ticket, according to the Florida Lottery.

The sole victor is 20-year-old Shane Missler, who announced his win on Facebook with three words: "Oh. My".

According to Missler's attorney, Shane purchased the Mega Millions ticket with the proceeds from a winning scratch off lottery ticket.

The winning ticket was bought at a 7-Eleven in Port Richey.

He shared the news with his father over coffee the following day.

Now that the lucky victor will be receiving his lump payment of $281.2 million he'll have his run at anything with four-wheels - and also most things with wings. The money is to be paid to a trust, managed by Missler, under the name of "Secret 007, LLC".

The winning numbers were 28, 30, 39, 59, 70, and the Mega Ball was 10. The retailer will receive $100,000 bonus commission for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

"A believer in the power of a positive mindset, Shane wasn't really surprised that he had won", the Florida Lottery said.

"He said he just had "a feeling" that he might". "I look forward to the future", Missler said in a statement released by his lawyer.

The largest Mega Millions jackpot of all time was $656 million in March 2012.

The victor of the $560 million Powerball ticket in New Hampshire has not yet come forward.
