Cleveland Cavaliers vs Orlando Magic

The Cleveland Cavaliers snapped their four-game losing streak with a close victory over the Orlando Magic, 104-103, Thursday night at the Quicken Loans Arena.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are pursuing a trade for Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan ahead of the NBA's February 8 trade deadline, according to the New York Times' Marc Stein.

In their last three games - two of which ended in narrow, heartbreaking losses to playoff powers Cleveland and Washington - the Magic have closely resembled the team that started the season with a flurry and one that the franchise felt could compete for a playoff berth.

Losers of nine of their last 13 games, the Cleveland Cavaliers are expected to be active in the week's leading up to the National Basketball Association trade deadline.

Furthermore, Stein reported the Cavaliers have "registered trade interest" in Clippers guard Lou Williams and have included center Tristan Thompson and swingman J.R. Smith in "various trade proposals".

Even though Hill isn't haven't the most productive season this year in Sacramento, Hill is coming off arguably the best season of his career.

The Clippers, though, have won six straight and are now 23-21 this season.

For the Cavs, any trades in the next three weeks would revolve around whether they include the 2018 Brooklyn Nets first-round draft pick. Vogel burned some early timeouts to scold his players after they gave up six 3-pointers in the opening minutes. And where would Hill fit into Cleveland's rotation now that Isaiah Thomas and Derrick Rose are back?

Kalbrosky believes that since Williams is on an expiring contract and could expect a max deal during the offseason, it might actually make sense for Los Angeles to trade him to a team that would be more interested in re-signing him for a longer deal for win-now value. As the clock races forward, the pressure is on for Cleveland to fix their team, before it implodes come July. He enters play on Friday second in the league in rebounding on a nightly basis at 14.9 per game.

Let's guess that there's a 4.6 chance out of 10 that the Cavaliers trade for any of these three players - 4 out of 10 for Hill, 0.5 out of 10 for Jordan, and 0.1 out of 10 for Williams. "We didn't get any breaks down the stretch".

The Cavs WILL make a trade.
