Dense fog advisory issued for Monday morning commute

A significant freezing rain even is also expected for some areas including Caledon and Dufferin County.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.

Dense fog patches have been reported in the London area. Near zero visibility in fog is expected or now occurring.

Environment Canada issued a fog advisory for Toronto, Caledon, Mississauga, Brampton, York Region, and Durham Region this morning, warning of near-zero visibility in some spots.

Visibilities will locally be reduced to a quarter of a mile or less at times.

Highs will dip back into the 60s for Wednesday and Thursday, but it should be mostly sunny.

Fog should finally lift sometime Monday morning. It warned drivers to go slowly and be prepared to stop often.
