Dragon Ball FighterZ's open beta is ready to download

Beerus, Hit, and Goku Black are the three newest characters to be announced for Dragon Ball FighterZ, and were revealed to audiences several weeks ago in an issue of V-Jump magazine.

Developers also confirmed that seven stages will be featured in the open beta, with those being the Cell Games Arena, the World Tournament Arena, Planet Namek, Rocky Field (Evening), Volcano, Wasteland and West City.

Since it is a Dragon Ball game, there's also a big focus on mobility.

Arriving from Universe 6, Hit will be among the dozens of playable DBZ characters in Dragon Ball FighterZ when it launches later this month.

A few days ago, audiences glimpsed the deadly skills of the legendary assassin Hit, in a character trailer that showcased his unique time-skip ability.

English voice actors Sean Schemmel (Goku) and Chrisopher Sabat (Vegeta) have been having a bit of a playful spat on Twitter, puffing out chests and comparing virtual Spirit Bomb sizes (I know Vegeta doesn't do the SB). Gamers who will pre-order the title will unlock Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is nearing its January 26, 2018 release date, and that means that publisher Bandai Namco is showing off more of the upcoming fighting game.

If you picked up Dragon Ball FighterZ via Amazon digitally, you can access the beta too. You can go download it now from the PS4 or Xbox One store, you just won't be able to play it until tomorrow at 3AM EST (if you have early access through pre-ordering), or Sunday through general access.
