HTC U11 EYEs Smartphone With Dual Selfie Cameras Leaked

The HTC U11 EYEs will be launching next week on January 15 and the company has confirmed this via an invite posted on Chinese social media site Weibo.

Given these specifications and the pricing, the U11 Eyes is a mid-range smartphone.

HTC's newest phone, the U11 EYEs, has been a rumored addition to the U11 family, and we now know a few more details about its specs, thanks to details leaked by Venture Beat's Evan Blass on Twitter.

The HTC U11 EYEs will be built around a 6-inch LCD3 screen of 1080x2160px resolution.

Besides the 3930mAh battery and the Edge Sense technology, the new HTC U11 EYEs will also have OIS enabled 12-megapixel rear primary camera as well as dual 5-megapixel front-facing cameras. Also take note of the smaller bezels up front and the fingerprint sensor on the back, which is a welcome change in my EYEs (ha, pun). Along with this, it is also expected that the device will come with IP67 rating which makes its dust and water resistant. As part of the U11 line, it features a curving glass rear that comes in the bold colors of red, black, and a blue-ish silver. The upcoming phone has been leaked by the revered Evleaks along with the specifications and the highlights. It is said to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 chipset that's coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. From what we could spot on the teaser, the phone may well arrive with dual selfie cameras.

The only downside though is the possibility that the device will launch with Android Nougat as opposed to the latest Android Oreo. The phone's display also suggests a launch on January 15. HTC U11 EYEs is likely to be available first in Hing Kong, China and Taiwan.
