1GB Data Plans of Jio - The 349 prepaid plan of Jio now offers 70GB data with unlimited calls including all calls and the validity of this plan of Jio is now 70 days. Similarly, the Rs. 509 Vodafone plan used to provide prepaid subscribers with 84-day validity but will remain active for 91 days now.

In the past, Airtel has launched competitive offers to take on Jio's continuing onslaught on tariff rates in India's telecom scene.

Airtel Takes on New Jio Rs. 398 Recharge With Its Rs. 399 Prepaid Plan

In comparison to Airtel, Reliance Jio with its Rs. 398 pack offers 1.5GB high-speed 4G data per day (after 1.5GB Jio offers unlimited data at 64Kbps). However, after 30 days, subscribers have to buy further data packs or plans to enjoy mobile internet from BSNL. Plan 448 of Jio offers 126GB data for a period of 84 days and plan 498 of Jio offers 136GB data for 91 days.

Additionally, Airtel has also a Rs. 93 pack that offers unlimited voice calls to all networks, 100 SMSes per day, and a total of 1GB 3G/ 4G data with a validity of 10 days. Before the revision, Vodafone customers doing recharge of ₹458 or ₹509 were offered free local and STD voice calls, free outgoing on roaming, 100 local and national SMS per day, and, 1 GB 3G/4G data per day. The 449 prepaid plan of Jio now offers 91GB data with a validity of 91 days. The validity of Jio's Rs. 398 pack is also 70 days. Users will also get unlimited voice calls and free roaming under this offer. Users can also get access to personal ring back tone for a period of 28 days. Airtel had a Rs. 199 prepaid pack to compete with Jio's pack at the same rate. The Rs. 399 pack has now taken the place of the Rs. 448 pack that offered same benefits with 70 days validity.

Data Plans of Jio - The 198 plan of Jio is the first plan that offers 1.5GB daily data.
