Kareena Kapoor Khan's 'Veere Di Wedding' postponed by two weeks!

The whole Hindi cinema calendar year looks very different now as the first film that got rescheduled was Aiyaary. The film has been delayed from its May 18 slot, to June 1.

Ever since Padmavati, or rather now Padmaavat, was said to hit the screens on January 25, clashing with Padman, there has been a lot of reshuffling of release dates in Bollywood.

Mumbai: The most anticipated film of 2018, 'Veere Di Wedding' has got a new mahurat as it release date has been pushed to June 1. It's uncertain what exactly caused the delay of the release date.

Also, the producer of the film Ekta Kapoor tweeted, "1 June is one big day!"

Veere Di Wedding is produced jointly by Ekta and Rhea Kapoor, and stars Sonam, Kareena, Shikha Talsania and Swara Bhaskar. After few months of giving birth to her lovely child, Taimur Ali Khan, Kareena resumed shooting for her upcoming film, 'Veere Di Wedding'. Permanent Roommates actor Sumeet Vyas will be playing Kapoor Khan's love interest in the film.

Director Ghosh will work with Sonam for the second time after Khoobsurat (2014).
