New 'Teen Titans GO' Movie Trailer Released

With a tag line like "The Super Hero Movie To End All Super Hero Movies".

Teen Titans GO! has pretty much taken over Cartoon Network the last few years as blocks of the show have steadily replaced new programs, and now it's getting ready to dominate movie theaters (probably). The premise? Every superhero in the world seems to get a movie, so why not the Titans? If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. The film will also feature Greg Cipes (TV's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles") as Beast Boy, Scott Menville (TV's "Spider-Man") as Robin, Khary Payton ("The Walking Dead") as Cyborg, Tara Strong (the "My Little Pony" franchise) as Raven, and Hynden Walch (TV's "Adventure Time with Finn & Jake") as Starfire, all reprising their roles from the series. The film comes from the creatives behind the show.

The movie's not-so-subtly-meta synopsis relates the story of Robin, (Scott Menville) exhausted of perpetually lurking in Batman's shadow, and his efforts to prove himself a top superhero by convincing megastar film director Jade Wilson (Kristen Bell) to make a Teen Titans film. The trailer starts off with the Teen Titans giving fans what they know they want - Wonder Woman.

Teen Titans GO! To The Movies will also feature Will Arnett as the voice of Slade and Kristen Bell as Jade Wilson.

So why can't the Teen Titans have one as well?

She's a Teen Titans rookie but Menville and his fellow castmates have been playing these heroes since 2003, in five seasons of the more serious superhero show Teen Titans, a series of lighthearted New Teen Titans shorts, and the proudly madcap Teen Titans GO!

Superhero movies are everywhere, and 2018 is set to be infested with so many. It's directed by Aaron Horvath and Peter Rida Michail, and here's the first trailer.
