OnePlus 5T Lava Red Colour Variant India Launch Expected on Thursday

Of course, it was a limited edition, so the number of units was not extremely high but even so, this could prove that OnePlus fans are always up for a new handset. And now it looks like the Chinese company is all set to launch the OnePlus 5T Lava Red Limited Edtion smartphone in India on 11th January 2018. The device has a white sandstone finish case, black button accents, and a red coloured alert slider button. We have already covered this device in great detail and had reported how the company was planning to launch the device before January 26, in order to avoid the holiday rush. The Star Wars edition was quite popular too and there are a lot of people eagerly waiting for the Lava red OnePlus 5T to launch later this month. However, we came across a report later suggesting that the launch would be preponed. A teaser on OnePlus India's Twitter handle now evidently confirms that the OnePlus 5T Lava Red variant is coming to India. As of now, there is no information on the pricing and availability.

According to OnePlus, the Sandstone White 5T was "gone in 2 hours". Under the hood is a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core SoC paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM with 64GB/128GB of internal storage. As we have already mentioned earlier, the Lava Red colored OnePlus 5T comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Other than, this all the specifications will remain the same.

The device came with a 6 inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The device comes with a dual rear camera setup. While it still uses the 20MP and 16MP sensors, the secondary Telephoto lens has been switched with a normal lens with an aperture size of f/1.7. On the software front, the OnePlus 5T runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat based on OxygenOS 4.7.0 out-of-the-box.

OnePlus 5T also features a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and dual-SIM slot.
