President Trump To Announce Most Dishonest And Corrupt Media Awards

In a tweet on social media, Trump said that he will announce on this coming Monday his new - in all capital letters - "MOST DISHONEST & CORRUPT MEDIA AWARDS OF THE YEAR".

He asked his followers to stay tune for further details on the issue.

"I will be announcing THE MOST DISHONEST & CORRUPT MEDIA AWARDS OF THE YEAR on Monday at 5:00 o'clock", he wrote. Not only is CNN a favorite to win everything thanks to their ongoing feud with Trump, the "failing" New York Times and Washington Post are both making strides for the print side of the media.

Trump-watchers have become accustomed to his holiday tweets, which in the past have targeted both "haters" and "losers" with greetings, however this New Year he made a special mention for the 'Fake News Media'. They are all bad.

The Trump campaign's email links to a poll where participants can vote on three media stories as "fake", "faker" or "fakest" news.

The tweet was the latest shot in a longstanding battle between the president and what he's derided as the "fake news media". 'Let the President know if there is another story you think should be crowned as the 2017 KING of Fake News'.

However, Trump's definition of Fake News is totally subjective. "And we want to hear from you", the email read.

"The FAKE NEWS has utterly abandoned their duty to fairly report the news to the American people".

President Donald Trump had Twitter in an uproar for a lot of reasons Tuesday.

He's shown particular disdain for CNN, which he has referred to as Clinton News Network; The New York Times, which he calls The Failing New York Times; CBS, ABC, and NBC News.
