PSEB announces exam dates for classes 10 and 12

The coveted Joint Entrance Examination or JEE - for entrance to technical institutions - is scheduled for April 8, a day before the physical education exam.

Exams of class 12th are going to begin from March 05, 2018, and will end on April 12, 2018.

A day before, the board defended the class 10 and 12 board exam 2018 date sheets after an outcry from students about the unfair scheduling of the exams. "I am seriously got nervous after getting the dates and really anxious that it may affect my performance", said, a class-XII student of humanities stream. Similarly there are four papers back to back in five days like psychology on April 5, political science on April 6, legal studies on April 7 and physical education on April 9. The English language paper is due to be held on March 05 and after a day's gap students will have to appear for Physics exam.

Now, Twitter has also been flooded with reactions from students.

The UP Board on its official website has also released the High School leaving certificate examination 2018 dates for Board students.

Apart from the students, even some teachers and parents have expressed disappointment with the date sheet. "The board must consider students' problem and give adequate gap between the subjects", said Abhisek, a class XII student.

The experts have also said that the class 10 and 12 students have over 50 days to prepare for their board exams.

In class X datesheet the students have only one complaint of and social science subject having one day gap.

The examination will be of three hours for each subject and fifteen extra minutes will be given to students for reading the question paper. Download The for your device.
