Days after the Boxing Day killing of Rihanna's cousin, Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne, a neatly clad young man appeared before the courts charged with his murder.

Alleyne was reportedly walking near his home on Tuesday when a man shot him several times before fleeing the scene.

The Royal Barbados Police Force has made a breakthrough in relation to their investigations into the last murder of 2017. Tavon was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados where he was pronounced dead.

'I never thought the day would come that I would have to bury you my love, omggg!' Tanella wrote. Tanella Alleyne, broke down at the Hospital when she saw her brother.

Alleyne had spent the Christmas Day and night with his family.

On her birthday, for example, Alleyne posted, "Every day we are happy to have you in our lives".
