Bishnoi was produced a day later in the same court amidst heavy security when he announced that he would kill Salman. On Monday, a senior officer informed the Superstar that three men in Mumbai wanted to kill him when at the same time a group of vandals was creating ruckus near the location where Salman was shooting. While Salman was in the Rajasthan city for hearing in the blackbuck and chinkara poaching cases, a Punjab gangster Lawrence Bishnoi reportedly threatened to kill the actor. Salman was escorted home in a vehicle by six cops and asked to maintain a low profile for a few days. The police arrives on the sets of Race 3 and talked to Salman and producer Ramesh Taurani that the shoot will have to be stalled immediately and that the actor needed to head home as soon as possible.

Taurani has also confirmed that the security on the sets of "Race 3" has been increased.

Asked if the Khan family planned to take legal action against Bishnoi, Salim Khan said, "The only action we are taking is to make sure that Salman is safe. There are additional bouncers, guards and personnel to safeguard Salman and the unit at all times", he said. Following these threats, Salman has also been advised to stay away from his cycling sessions and not inform his fans about his whereabouts on social media.
