Scarborough Accuses GOP Senators Cotton And Perdue Of 'Lying' For 'Racist' President

Hundreds of Haitian-Americans and others have rallied in Times Square in New York City to denounce racism and remarks that President Donald Trump is said to have made disparaging African countries and questioning further USA acceptance of Haitian immigrants.

But he declined on Thursday to confirm whether Trump described countries, like Haiti and several African nations, as "shithole countries", saying that he wanted to maintain a dialogue with Trump.

Trump also rejected making the statements that reporters attributed to him, but did not say which statements were and were not his.

"I don't believe it at all", Booker, a New Jersey senator on the Senate Judiciary Committee, told CNN's Chris Cuomo on Tuesday.

Trump reportedly said, "Why do we need more Haitians?" according to people familiar with the meeting.

President Trump had a weight of 239 pounds and a height of 75 inches, Jackson said. "Never said 'take them out.' Made up by Dems".

Jackson also said that Trump does not have a drug addiction of any type.

Trump's White House physician - Navy doctor Ronny Jackson - declared Trump to be in "excellent health" following last Friday's exam at the Walter Reed military hospital in Maryland.

And on Monday, he tweeted that Durbin had "totally misrepresented what was said".

Nielsen has said she didn't recall that word - "shithole" - being used by Trump, although there was "cussing" during the meeting by various members. And yes, as Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Steve Goldstein told CNN on January 15, Trump "has the right to make whatever remarks he wants and we respect the president", but diplomats will need to "reaffirm that the USA remains committed to its relationships with these countries and cares deeply about their people".

In a hearing Tuesday, Graham said Trump expressed openness to an immigration deal, only to reject it hours later.

"No. I'm not a racist".

The president added: "Did you see what various senators in the room said about my comments? The Democrats are the ones that aren't going to make a deal".

Durbin has said the White House should release whatever recording it might have of the meeting.

Jackson describes Trump as "very sharp" and "very articulate when he speaks to me". They said Trump expressed a preference for immigrants from countries like Norway, which is overwhelmingly white.

Trump took particular issue with the idea that people who'd fled to the US after disasters hit their homes in places such as El Salvador, Guatemala and Haiti would be allowed to stay as part of the deal, according to the people briefed on the conversation.

But his first wife said otherwise, arguing he's successfully run the country like one of his companies.
