'The World Ends With You' Will Be Launching On The Nintendo Switch

Nintendo hosted a mini Direct yesterday (Jan. 11) which saw the announcement of several exciting titles that are on their way to the Switch, including the likes of "Super Mario Odyssey"#DLC, "Payday 2", and "Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze".

New footage showed off Friend Abilities, which allow you to merge two copy abilities to create a new effect. On Switch, it can be played using either the Joy-Con controllers or the touch screen.

In other words, all the games and all the DLC that has ever been released for them. The second set will include Blastoise as a playable character and Mew and Celebi as support characters.

All titles are expected in the next few months with Kirby Star Allies kicking off the 2018 first-party offerings on March 16. You will also be able to combine powers together in creative ways.

You can think of Dragon Quest Builders as a story-driven Minecraft with the quirky characters, monsters and excellent music which the Dragon Quest series is renowned for. The demo can be downloaded from the eShop and played docked or portably.
