West Ham United hit four past Huddersfield Town

West Ham United beat Huddersfield Town 4-1 at the John Smith's Stadium on Saturday with David Moyes picking up his 200th win as a Premier League manager.

Carroll has been linked with a move to Chelsea, yet it seems that he will be staying at West Ham for the foreseeable future, with Moyes more concerned over a possible long term injury to Michail Antonio.

But Moyes said: "I'm not aware of that at all".

Christopher Schindler headed over as the home team battled to get back into the game well and they were level just before half time. And to put an exclamation point on a banner second half day, Arnautovic and Lanzini connected once again for the Argentine's brace just five minutes later in the 61st. Indeed, new signings Alex Pritchard and Terence Kongolo, coming on as second half substitutes with their side three goals in arrears, must have wondered what happened to the feisty battlers described in the brochure.

"He's a really good player, his finishing ability is as good as there is anywhere, he thrives on balls in the box and maybe in a lot of games we haven't had that service to give him".

Noble was quick to notice the Huddersfield player was in trouble and was on to the loose ball in a flash, breaking forward and beating Lossl with a crisp rising shot.

Huddersfield had the better of a competitive start with attacking trio Rajiv van La Parra, Tom Ince and Lolley leading the charge. Lolley would make up for his embarrassing moment, with a terrific individual finish in the 40th minute to equal the contest.

Yet that merely stung the Hammers into action and just 11 SECONDS after the break they were ahead once again. He was eventually halted close to the penalty spot, but there was so little of the home defence left it was a simple matter for Lanzini to collect the loose ball and belt it into the net.

With the wind in their sails, West Ham pushed for a third and came within inches as Aaron Mooy cleared off the line after Lossl had failed to deal with an Aaron Cresswell corner.

Huddersfield were not just overtaken in the table, they were outclassed.
