WWE Rumors Roundup for Week of January 11 Ahead of Royal Rumble

According to PWInsider's elite's audio, it seems that WWE has already confirmed the first female legend for the upcoming Royal Rumble. However, one of the most intriguing aspects of the women's match has been who exactly will appear in the bout.

As reported by Dave Meltzer the two top matches for WWE WrestleMania 34 are now being scheduled. Whilst Molly did walk away from WWE back in 2005, she did return for one night only to compete in the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania Women's battle royale, which was later won by Santina Marella. The other name contacted, but not confirmed, is Michelle McCool. During a recent interaction with SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair on Twitter, McCool indicated that she would be interested in returning for a match after retiring from the squared circle in 2011. Best known for her spell as one half of LayCool, she's a four-time Divas/Women's Champion, a former "Diva Of The Year" Slammy Award victor, and someone who hasn't appeared for the company in close to seven years.

Both Holly and McCool have appeared on WWE television since their wrestling departures, most recently as part of WWE Network's Table For Three program.

Powell's POV: Becky Lynch is the latest entrant in the women's Royal Rumble match, and Rusev and Aiden Englsh are the latest to enter the men's Royal Rumble match.
