Moto Z2 Force Limited Edition India launch today

Lenovo owned Motorola has finally introduced its Moto Z2 Force smartphone in India, almost a year after its official global launch. The display on the device is a 5.5-inch QHD Shatter-Shield AMOLED display which offers resistance to shocks.

The Moto Z2 Force is a huge upgrade over its predecessor and feels like a complete package at Rs 34,999. It measures 155.8x76x6.1mm and weighs 143 grams.

Talking about the processor units of the devices, the Moto G6 is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450, while the Moto G6 Plus may ship with Snapdragon 630 and the Moto G6 Play may feature Snapdragon 430 chipset. The fingerprint sensor has been moved to the rear below the camera. It carries support for Quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and bears an aspect ratio of 16:9. It has an internal storage of 64 GB. It has a native storage of 64 GB and it is also equipped with dedicated slot for adding a microSD card. The flagship Moto comes with a dual 12MP camera and a 5MP front-facing shooter. The 2,730mAh battery fuels the smartphone.

For optics, it includes dual 12MP sensors in the back with f/2.0 aperture lens with support for LDAF and PDAF.

The round-shaped camera module that has an iconic bump includes a pair of 12-megapixel RGB and monochrome sensors, dual-LED flash and laser autofocus.

Last month, a photo of the Moto G6 Plus was also leaked on Reddit. According to specs listed by the Alliance, all three of these handsets will have Android Oreo pre-installed. Moto Z2 Force will be available in black colour only. The device is bundled with a TurboPower Pack Moto Mod, priced at Rs 5,999 respectively.

It is to be seen if the Moto Z2 Force Limited Edition will beat its rivals in India, but it seems like the Lenovo-owned company has consciously slashed the price of the device for the Indian market sensing the possibly tough competition. One should be aware of the fact that since it lacks a 3.5mm audio jack, users can make use of its USB-C port for connecting charger or earphones. Later, it will be also available at Motorola's other offline retailing partners. As far as connectivity is concerned, the Z2 Force provides its users with options like dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, dual band Wi-Fi with MIMO, Bluetooth, USB-C, NFC and Global Positioning System.
