Craig Mack, the rapper known for 'Flava in Ya Ear, ' died of a heart failure at a hospital near his Walterboro, South Carolina.

Mack, who hailed from Brentwood, NY, started writing his own songs when he was 12 years old.

According to reports, Craig Mack, famous for his stint on the Bad Boy record label, has died.

"Flava In Ya Ear" was Mack's crown jewel earning him a Grammy nomination before he made a decision to leave Bad Boy Records in 1995.
