In demand Thomas Tuchel linked with PSG and Arsenal

The Egyptian midfielder has established himself as a reliable squad member in north London and has been an important figure in Arsene Wenger's set up.

Arsenal now sit 33 points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City as the Gunners look set for another season without Champions League football, unless they can finish this season by winning the Europa League.

Asked about his tendency to substitute Lacazette, Wenger told the Arsenal magazine: "I must say that [Lacazette] plays in a position where you sub more than say a defender".

"Some fans suffer as well very highly, but when you're involved every day and every game you lose believe me, that's a test". The first leg against CSKA Moscow takes place in nine days and Lacazette will be hoping for some game time on the weekend to get back to fitness. Now sixth place in the Premier League, they're in danger of missing out on the Champions League for a second successive season.

"I'm a little bit fed up of all that modern thing about being completely taking care of image".

Is Tuchel a target for the Gunners?
Speaking to beIN Sport during this global window, the current Arsenal manager has opened up on his response to the criticism he and his team have received after a very poor start to 2018.

According to James Olley of the Evening Standard, the Gunners have not made a "formal approach" to anyone despite recent speculation in the German media that they were in talks with Thomas Tuchel. It quoted former Germany worldwide Lothar Matthaus who says Tuchel is "in contact" with the Arsenal board.

"That will not change today until the end of the season, until the end of my contract, if I can I will do that".

'I am just amazed that I have to always answer things that are exactly the same, ' he said.

A report in Kicker on Monday (AEDT) claimed former Borussia Dortmund boss Tuchel has rejected an offer from Bayern to succeed Jupp Heynckes at the end of the season. Tuchel also gave the youngsters a chance and bought some highly talented players, turning them into stars.
