Mourinho brutally honest over Man Utd's Champions League chances

Manchester United now sit second in the Premier League table and are still in the FA Cup and Champions League.

Manchester United host Sevilla at Old Trafford on Tuesday looking to complete the job of qualifying for the Champions League quarter-finals.

Paul Pogba missed the win over Liverpool on Saturday with a minor leg injury but he was able to take part in training yesterday so could be in contention this evening.

Anthony Martial is also back in contention and Zlatan Ibrahimovic has returned to training, but Ander Herrera, Phil Jones, Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo are expected to miss out.

Ronald De Boer has told Sky Sports his brother Frank "respects Jose Mourinho a lot" after the two became embroiled in a war of words over Marcus Rashford.

Sevilla come in to the match off the back of a 2-0 defeat to Valencia but they've won four of their last six away games so United won't be taking anything for granted against the La Liga outfit.

Rico said in a press conference: "Both for Sevilla and me personally it's an important and special match".

The first leg tie between the two teams finished in a goalless stalemate in Spain, and United will be confident that home advantage on Tuesday night will work in their favour.

But as the Champions League enters the knockout stages, only 12 teams remain and the quarterfinal of any cup competition is the point at which teams start to believe they can go all the way. I know that it is very hard to go through.

"Before that they were scoring lots of goals".

Sevilla last reached the quarter-finals of Europe's top competition in 1958, only the third edition of the European Cup, losing to eventual winners Real Madrid.
