Patriots Rumors: At least three teams in on Dion Lewis

The odds of the San Francisco 49ers going after New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler reduced when they signed Richard Sherman on Saturday.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network revealed on-air that Butler is signing a five-year deal worth more than $61 million that includes $30 million guaranteed with the Tennessee Titans.

Butler now lands in Tennessee with former Patriots linebacker Mike Vrabel taking over as the new head coach, in addition to general manager Jon Robinson, who served various roles in New England's personnel department from 2002 to 2013.

Butler made a game-winning interception in the closing seconds of the victory over the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX following the 2014 season.

One surprising note: Butler's representatives had a post-Super Bowl conversation with the Patriots. The 28-year-old defensive back should have no problem taking over as the Titans' new number-one corner. The Patriots lost the Super Bowl to the Eagles, unable to stop Nick Foles without Butler out there.

Malcolm Butler is about to become a rich man in new surroundings around familiar faces.

The cornerback was well-respected in the Patriots' locker room and played last season under a $3.9 million tender offer.

Look for the Titans to add another running back to complement Derrick Henry after releasing DeMarco Murray.

In his first four National Football League seasons - two with the Patriots and two with the Philadelphia Eagles - Lewis ran for 688 yards and four touchdowns on 149 carries and caught 51 passes for 503 yards and two TDs. For the first time in his career, he played all 16 games and had his most productive year. He caught 32 passes for 214 yards and three touchdowns last season.
