Destiny's Child reunites at Coachella

Destiny's Child reunites at Coachella

The celebrity line-up for performances includes many well-known celebrities like Alt-J, Bedouin, Beyonce, Cardi B, Eminem, French Montana, Jorja Smith, Kygo, Post Malone, Sza, The Weeknd etc. To be more generous to Bey, though, the Coachella photo policy is a natural extension of her well-known desire for creative control: No low-angle fan video can really replicate professional footage, especially at a show designed and rehearsed for the livestream cameras as much as for the live audience.

After making a stunning entrance, the singer took her already stellar performance to the next level by reuniting her original girl group, Destiny's Child for a trio of songs.

While she was performing with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, she had a hand on to the strap of her top to prevent an embarrassing nip-slip. In an interview with Vogue, Rousteing opened up about his process, which involved working super closely with Beyoncé - or "B", as he calls her - and attending rehearsals to make sure the outfits were fitting correctly for Beyoncé and the hundred-plus dancers and musicians who joined her for the performance.

It's hard not to look at Cardi and smile.

A year after postponing her headlining set in 2017 due to pregnancy, Beyoncé treated her return to the stage like a family reunion, homecoming pep rally and a Beyhive-unifying rebel yell before heading into battle. The pregnant NY star was a burst of energy during her Sunday Coachella performance which also saw appearances from YG, G-Eazy, Chance The Rapper, 21 Savage and Kehlani (no Offset sighting, surprisingly, given his set with the Migos wasn't too long after). Naturally, "Bodak Yellow" is still as electrifying.
