IPL 2018 Match 10 KKR vs SRH

Williamson struck exactly fifty off 44 deliveries, hitting four boundaries and a six to help Hyderabad chase down the small target of 139 after the visiting side were reduced to 55 for 3 in the ninth over at the Eden Gardens. Add in Bangladesh ace Shakib Al Hasan and Aussie express pacer Billy Stanlake into mix and you have one of the most complete bowling units you will ever find.

Shakib fell after a 21-ball 27 with two fours and six, bowled off the bowling of Piyush Chawla with the Hyderabad score on 114. They scored 200 in the last match but failed to defend it, and they will need a similar score to defend on the belter of a wicket that the Eden Gardens has become.

"At this point, I can't say whether we are going for Nagarkoti or Mavi".

Today, there are two matches to be played. Can KKR be the first team to defeat SRH this season, or will the visitors make it three in three?

With 41 victories, KKR is the third most successful teams while playing on home grounds.

Sunrisers Hyderabad: Shikhar Dhawan, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Kane Williamson (C), Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan, Deepak Hooda, Shakib Al Hasan, Rashid Khan, Siddharth Kaul, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Billy Stanlake. The former has taken two wickets in each match while maintaining a low economy, while the latter has gone through his overs in miserly fashion as well. Chris Lynn looked good for his 34-ball 49 but was taken out by Shakib, and Karthik's 29 towards the end of the innings was the only other significant contribution with the bat.

Lynn was the lone KKR crusader in the middle but a sensational diving catch by Shakib off his own bowling denied the Australian a half-century as the star Bangladeshi cricketer once again did his job in the middle overs.

While Karthik defended an out of form Vinay, he did drop hints that he is looking at other options such as U-19 World Cup winning fast bowlers Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagarkoti.

Shami has turned out in all the three matches for DD and a team official said there's no question of his availability as it remains to be seen where there's also a courtroom battle in the offing.
