Haley Anderson, 22, was a nursing student who was strangled to death at an off-campus residence on March 9, Pix11 News reported. Anyone with information can contact Binghamton University Police at (607) 777-2393 or the New York State Police.

Employee Assistance Program staff are available to provide support to faculty and staff dealing with this loss.

A fellow Binghamton nursing student, 22-year-old Orlando Tercero, was arrested four days later in Nicaragua and charged with her murder.
