Weather Service Warns of High Winds in East San Diego County

On Monday, the weather service released its findings after a crew surveyed damage from a storm that struck late Friday night.

The National Weather Service says an EF-1 tornado struck Upshur and Harrison counties last week.

Greensboro City Manager Jim Westmoreland on Sunday said he expects clean up to continue through Tuesday.

A spokesman for the Summit County EMA says Barberton and Copley were the hardest hit areas during Sunday night's storm.

The storm damaged a roof, a carport and trees in the area.

In North Carolina, the weather service office in Raleigh said Monday that a high-end EF-2 tornado hit Greensboro, carrying maximum winds of 135 miles per hour with a path that was at least 300 yards wide.

Storms today could yield winds, flooding

The NWS office in Negaunee Township as of this morning only had one reading reported from the Dickinson-Iron county area - 9 inches of snow just north of Iron Mountain.

What, 15 inches of snow wasn't enough? Areas south of Highway 20 may have a little bit of rain mixing in as well, but it will be mostly snow across northern Iowa.
