The Ruth Holley Library will show the movie "Thor: Ragnarok" from 2 to 4 p.m., and at the Monument Library you can make Perler Bead superhero keychains from 1 to 2 p.m.

Participating Free Comic Book Day retailers generally allow one pick of a free comic book with no purchase necessary.

There will be loads of free comics to give away as well as awesome specials on single-issue comics. The shop will also host an autograph signing from 11 a.m.to 3 p.m. featuring DC Comics artist Tom Derenick, whose recent credits include issues of "Suicide Squad" and 'Green Lantern, ' as well as the tie-in comic for new feature film 'Rampage'.

At 9 a.m. registration for free comics and other prizes will begin.
