Irate Woman Detained After Throwing Feces At Tim Hortons Staff In Langley

The incident happened at the downtown location of Tim Horton's in Langley, British Columbia, southeast of Vancouver. She then grabs some napkins and pulls down her trousers.

Leaked surveillance images show a heated argument between the woman and a staff member.

Leaning against a partition, the irate woman apparently defecates on the floor before bending down to scoop up the feces and throw it at the worker. At this point, she pulls up her trousers and leaves the store.

Holly Largy, a spokesperson for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Langley, explained the woman was "briefly detained after the incident" and will appear in court at a later date.

According to initial understanding of the restaurant officials, the woman seen in the video was denied washroom access based on her erratic behavior in the past.

The worker was anxious that letting her in could impact "the immediate safety" of customers and other employees, the spokesperson said, though the concerns were not specified.

The company said it is working with the restaurant owner to investigate the matter further.

Officers from the RCMP, Canada's national police force, took the woman into custody in the parking lot a short time later, The Abbotsford News reported.
