Leopards eye reckless tourists who get out of vehicle at safari park

The cheetah's took notice, of one small child in particular.

In a video recorded by another auto visiting Beekse Bergen wildlife park outside Tilburg, a French family can be seen fleeing as the wild animals starts to hunt them.

Officials at the safari park were unaware of the tourists breaking the rules until viewing the video that shows two men, two women and a child out of the vehicle.

Later in the clip, the cheetahs begin bounding towards the family after parking their vehicle further away.

The video was shot by another group of tourists behind them, and we have to warn you, the intense situation caused them to use some colorful language.

According to Fox News, the family were at the Safari Park Beekse Bergen, in the Netherlands, when they made a decision to get out of their vehicle.

In 2009, a nine-year-old boy was bitten on the arm by a cheetah after leaving his family's auto.

That's when a cheetah ran toward them, looking for prey.

A woman carrying a child is seen shooing off the approaching cheetah as she steadily makes her way back to the auto.

Family from France, who came on Safari in the Netherlands, miraculously saved from a pack of cheetahs.

"The cheetahs are on a food schedule so they are not extremely hungry and are not in the hunt", park manager Niels de Wildt told NOS, the largest news organization in the Netherlands.

"In the first instance they have the same reaction as when someone rings in unexpectedly, they think, "Hey, something unusual is happening in our territory".

But at the end of the day, Wildt reminded parkgoers, they're still wild animals and people should heed the warnings placed around the park to stay inside the safety of their vehicles.
