They don't even trust us: Emilia Clarke on shooting 'GOT' climax

Looks like they do things differently in Westeros: Emilia Clarke, Game of Thrones' Daenerys Targaryen, has said she has never experienced a gender pay gap on the HBO fantasy drama.

Emilia Clarke has admitted the mood on the set of Solo: A Star Wars Story was one of confusion during the first few weeks of production.

"I would definitely say probably a healthy mix of both, but I think survival is at the heart of it", Clarke admitted. When asked who emerges as the victor in the Game of Thrones, Clarke told The Hollywood Reporter, "I don't know that I even do now".

Exhausted of the one-dimensional definition of "strong", Clarke explained that she would rather talk about what it's like to play a woman in general, than harp about why her characters are "strong".

She said she was not certain how all the clashes for the Iron Throne will end.

The actor attended the Cannes Film Festival with the cast of her upcoming project, Solo: A Star Wars Story.

"There are lots of different endings that could happen; I think we're doing all of them and we aren't being told which is actually what's going to happen", she further added.

"You start to dig deep and see where it is, rife in the industry".

In an interview for Kering Women in Motion at the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday, where her film "Solo: A Star Wars Story" is screening, Clarke said that her starring role on "Game of Thrones" comes with a gender-neutral paycheck. 'You just start to fight harder for that stuff'.

On what she would like to be referred to instead, Emilia explained: "Let's just be women or how does it feel to play a female lead in a blockbuster movie or how does it feel to play someone with power". It just doesn't even bear having the conversation. I'm just playing women. That's it. Take the strong out of it. Find another adjective, dammit!
