Anthony Martial wants to leave, claims agent

Anthony Martial has decided he wants to leave Manchester United, according to his agent.

Tottenham Hotspur fans are desperate to see Daniel Levy make a move for Manchester United's Anthony Martial, after his agent's comments last night.

Martial just about had the flawless debut as he scored in a 3-1 win over Liverpool on September 12, and he went on to net 17 times during a brilliant first season at Old Trafford.

Anthony Martial hasn't started many games for Manchester United under Jose Mourinho but there's no questioning his potential.

The Frenchman, who just missed out on being part of his country's World Cup squad, seems to feel his best interests would be suited by a move away from United.

However, agent Philippe Lamboley is not in any mood to be drawn on his client's exact reasons for wanting to bring his time at the Red Devils to an end and promised the player himself will open up.

"Manchester United wanted to offer Anthony a contract extension and don't want him to leave, but we haven't been able to reach an agreement after several months of talks".

Anthony Martial wants out of Manchester United

The France striker's agent revealed that the player has made a decision to quit the club, while at the same time emphasising that the player was still under contract so agreement will need to be reached with United.

"Anthony will speak later to discuss all of this". I think that when Man United, who are the most powerful club, can not come to an agreement after eight months it is because they really don't want to make him a key player.

"It's a decision we have considered carefully".

"We do not have the same vision of Anthony's future".

"Today, Anthony is disappointed because he has shown for three seasons the love he had for the club and the supporters".

"However, Anthony got hooked, he showed great professionalism, he was successful". It is important to remember that this season he scored 11 goals and gave ten assists in five months. He was elected three times as the player of the month by fans.

Will Martial still be a Man United player at the close of play?
