E3 2018 - Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: female lead, release date, setting revealed

So far, Bethesda Game Studios and Electronic Arts (EA) have showcased their latest titles at the expo, while Microsoft debuted a number of first and third-party games during its conference on Sunday evening.

From Assassin's Creed to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, Ubisoft has proved deft at provided games in many different genres to gamers all over the world and doing it well.

Although Odyssey does have a main campaign and storyline, Ubisoft has gone to great lengths to increase the RPG elements of the game to extents never seen before in Assassin's Creed, which includes branching quests and multiple possible endings.

However, we will reserve our judgment of Odyssey for when the game releases on October 5 of this year. With a rich new setting in the earliest time period of an AC game yet, we're ready to get back to stealthing, stabbing people, and climbing really tall buildings. After a world premiere trailer that introduced Odyssey, we received our first look at its gameplay. Origins was known for its breathtakingly lovely recreation of ancient Egypt and Odyssey promises more of the same for Greece, but numerous locales seemed almost identical to places found in Origins. There are also rumors swirling about a new Splinter Cell game.

Despite that, it was a pretty impressive showing from the French veteran if only because it displayed breadth and depth of content the company contributes to the insane world of video games.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: First Details Leaked via Playstation Store.

Three DLC packs are to be released in the wake of The Division 2, each one a full episode in an ongoing story.

The trailer is expected by many to appear during Ubisoft's E3 media briefing, which starts at 1 p.m. PT/4 p.m. ET on June 11.

The game is set to release on 14 November for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Most of the games on show might have been known quantities already (all manners of leaks made sure of that), but Ubisoft didn't let that dissuade them from the plan they had in place. Be sure to stay tuned.
