Janet Jackson desperately calls 911 about her son

Deputies responded to the 2200 block of Pacific Coast Highway where the child was found with his father, Jackson's estranged husband Wissam Al Mana.

Janet Jackson called police Saturday over concern for her 1-year-old son, Eissa Al Mana, authorities told CNN.

A spokesperson told PEOPLE, 'Deputies were there [and] called to the scene.

Jackson's older brother Randy Jackson told "Entertainment Tonight" that the "Miss You Much" singer called 911 after receiving a call from a frantic and frightened nanny who was helping Al Mana watch their son. Janet was supposedly tipped off to some alleged aggressive behavior displayed by Wissam, which concerned a nanny enough to alert Janet.

The estranged couple welcomed the birth of their son in 2017, and parted ways three months later.

A spokesperson for Al Mana could not be reached for comment at press time; Billboard was also unable to reach a representative at the L.A. Country Sheriff's Department at press time.

Approximately five minutes later, deputies arrived at the Nobu Hotel in Malibu where Jackson's son Eissa was present with his father, reports USA Today. At the time of separating, Jackson released a statement to say they were both committed to co-parenting.
