Kingdom Hearts III is the first game in the series that's coming to Xbox. So, to all of you fans that have waited 13 years since the release of Kingdom Hearts 2, you now have a solid release date to hold onto and only have a few more months to wait. Kingdom Hearts II came out in 2006. Previously set for this year, Kingdom Hearts III will miss 2018 by a hair. Expect to see more at Square Enix's conference tomorrow. At the same time, Square Enix will also unveiled a number of new trailers for the game at E3 2018 later this week.

Nomura has noted that the game will have another playable character besides Sora.
