LeBron James SLAMMED: Cavs star made one monumental error against Warriors

President Donald Trump's war of words with several high-profile USA sports stars shows no signs of slowing down after LeBron James and Stephen Curry, arguably the two best players in basketball, revealed that the eventual victor of the Cavaliers v Warriors NBA finals series will turn down the traditional White House celebration that often comes with winning a major sporting title.

Although they're now 2-0 down in the NBA Finals series against the Golden State Warriors, the King has been phenomenal over the past two games in order to try and help Cleveland win when the rest of his teammates haven't stepped up to the mark.

"I know it feels like we're down 2-0, and I don't like the way I feel", James said.

- LeBron James laughed as he came around the backstage partition after arriving fashionably late for his crowded, post-practice news conference. "Winning [a championship] is way bigger than getting invited to the White House, especially with him in there".

Curry's historic barrage - In addition to setting a single-game NBA Finals record, the nine 3-pointers Curry made also moved him one ahead of James into second place on the all-time postseason list with 370. Curry is the odds-on favorite to win the 2018 NBA Finals MVP award after going 14-28 from three-point range in two Golden State victories. Numerous people responded to Trump, including Eagles players, noting among other things that few players were going to attend, anyway, and that no Eagles player kneeled during the playing of the national anthem last season.

Not a chance, LeBron James says. And if you're going to do that, you might as well look for a way to bet on them to win every National Basketball Association title for the next five or six years.

Going back to the Perkins unsafe Ggame 2 third quarter ending play, ESPN reported on Monday that Warriors players were not happy with what happened.

"You look at it, they've got four Hall of Famers on their team in Klay, Dray, Steph and KD. Now we've got to come back and do the same thing", Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue said.

While seemingly playing the Warriors by himself in Game 1, James saw better production from Kevin Love (22 points) and George Hill (15 points) in Game 2, an upward trend he will hope continues.

It was unclear, however, whether Iguodala can join Golden State's active roster in time for Game 3 at Cleveland on Wednesday (Thursday in Manila).

Kerr closed with a defense of athlete activism, "You have to understand that what players have protested is not the military". He said that it was "typical" of President Donald Trump to rescind the entire team's invitation because some of the players refused to attend.

Kerr also lauded the Eagles for being what he called "fantastic citizens in their own community". Malcolm Jenkins, Chris Long - these guys are studs.
