Tyson Fury: Heavyweight to fight on Carl Frampton undercard in August

Speaking in the ring straight after the fight, Fury promised the boxing world that better is to come in 2018.

"The opponent was small and light".

"I learned that two-and-a-half years out of the ring was a long time".

'Tony Bellew absolutely, we'd go for that before the end of the year - not a problem. But he took me a few rounds, which I was happy with.

"Because I got high" begun to blare out over the speakers, but it quickly became clear Fury had changed the lyrics to reflect his own story.

'I was going to beat up Wlad [Klitschko] again, but then I got high.

"He took a couple of hard punches and didn't want to know". I won't take anything for granted and I'll enjoy every moment.

Fury has been kept out of the ring since since November 2015 for multiple reasons.

Despite the fact the Gypsy King was making his comeback after almost three years out of the sport, boxing fans simply could not get over how ridiculous the bout at the Manchester Arena was.

Fury is most likely poking fun at his doping and cocaine issues in the last two years, which saw the former unified champion admit to drug use and accept a back-dated suspension.

But Fury rediscovered his passion for boxing and claimed to have lost eight stones (112 pounds) ahead of facing Seferi.

Warren plans to keep Fury busy but has no idea yet who he will face in his next fight at Windsor Park in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on August 18.

Frank Warren, promoter to both Fury and Frampton, confirmed that the heavyweight would appear on the Belfast bill as he continues his comeback. "You can see that he's still got a bit of weight to lose and you can see that he needs the rounds and we'll just have to step up his opponents each time".

"We picked Sefer Seferi because he fought Manuel Charr and gone 10 rounds with him", Warren said.

'We keep moving onward and keep moving forwards and the objective is to get him into contention to fight for the world title as soon as possible.

"I think Anthony Joshua is fighting Alexander Povetkin in September so he will not fight until next year now and I think Wilder has got a mandatory".
