Meghan and Harry Help Honor Royal Air Force

Later, Meghan and Harry will head to Dublin to begin their two-day whirlwind trip of Ireland.

The Duchess of Sussex promised to revisit Ireland's oldest library after she was told of plans to include the first female bust in its iconic Long Room.

The duchess and her husband are expected to continue their two-day visit in the city with a tour of the Irish Immigration Museum and a trip to Trinity College, among other plans in their royal itinerary.

Harry was then seen laughing as he responded to his wife, while Meghan did her best to hide a smirk from her face.

Her choice of Givenchy is an unsurprising one since she has become an ardent champion of the French fashion house under Claire Waight Keller's creative direction in recent months, and famously wore her custom design on her wedding day.

The Duchess is clearly a big fan of the black suit - she actually wore a black tuxedo style two-piece at the Endeavour Fund Awards in London in February which she paired with a white shirt.

She also traded in her large handbag from the morning for a black clutch purse, but despite being outdoors and on a grassy field, Meghan continued to rock black heels.

Today, the RAF is engaged on some 13 missions across 26 countries and is heavily committed on operations both at home and overseas.

Prince William and Prince Harry were decked out in their military finest.

Following the service the family gathered on the balcony at Buckingham Palace for an impressive aerial display, with the Queen giving a speech commemorating the merging of the Royal Flying Corps and the Royal Naval Air Service on April 1, 1918.

In Ireland they will spend their time visiting organisations which are "central to Irish life", including the home of Gaelic football and the country's most famous university.

The royal couple will meet Irish President Michael Higgins and the head of government, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar on their first visit outside the United Kingdom since their wedding in May, the Irish Times reported.
