Following her and Harry's engagement announcement last November, it was revealed that Meghan would become a United Kingdom citizen.

At the reception, the royal couple met youths who have completed their leadership training provided by the Commonwealth Secretariat in a further step to develop their ideas on the type of Commonwealth they want to see in 2040.

Kensington Palace explained last night the Your Commonwealth Youth Challenge gives young people of the Commonwealth a voice.

Meghan Markle has only been officially living in the United Kingdom a few short months but some people seem to think that she's picked up a bit of an English accent.

The event marked Prince Harry's first official undertaking in his new role as a Commonwealth Youth Ambassador.

The pair returned to work at Trooping The Colour on Saturday, June 9, which saw Meghan's first appearance with the royal family on the Buckingham Palace balcony to watch a fly-past.

Prince Harry's new wife may have also taken inspiration from her own wedding guest Amal Clooney, who commanded attention in a mustard yellow shift dress by Stella McCartney at Windsor Castle in May.

The pair seemed to get on brilliantly with photos of them laughing and smiling together beamed around the world.

"Meghan was often quite coy and giggly, using facial cut-offs and the clutch bag barrier rituals to suggest she was made quite shy by her happiness but then this gesture which is hugely powerful and significant in terms of their relationship", she said of a moment when Markle placed her hand on Harry's back. The royal couple will jet visit Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand in October.

Do you look forward to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex undertaking more engagements?
