AI gives Thanos a soul in 'Avengers: Infinity War'

Well before Avengers: Infinity War came out and changed the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it, Mark Ruffalo did his level best to spoil the movie for everyone while Don Cheadle watched. The next Avengers movie arrives in theaters in April 2019. Again, it's an incredible clip because you see Cheadle not only try to stop Ruffalo before he goes any further, but then he quickly realises that it's way too late - all while Ruffalo keeps going, asking the guy if they can rewind that bit.

But if you're really keen on seeing Thanos dip his toes in the red stuff, head to 3:43 in the link above for the cut first draft that would've seen the movie have an extremely bloody ending - in more ways than one.

Cheadle is just happy it stopped there. "If you listen very closely, he actually started to say the absolute truth, and then had to try to say 'everybody" after he nearly said 'half.' He just messed the whole thing up!" If you did read the comics, you'll know that the snap isn't the end of the Avengers, but it's the end for Thanos, at least for now.

Infinity War, Marvel Studios is doing a very good job of keeping plot details for next year's as-yet-untitled Avengers 4 well under wraps, but that hasn't stopped a number of fan theories sprouting up based upon the few set photos that we saw during production.

The answer, guttingly, was yes. Ant Man And The Wasp was a fun time at the pictures, but it was somewhat beholden to the mortifying climax of Marvel's previous blockbuster, Infinity War.
