Along with war-torn scenes from Rotterdam and North Africa, DICE has teased Battlefield V's battle royale mode.

The trailer, which claims to be all in-game footage, is a montage of intense gameplay that runs the full gamut of Battlefield V's various concepts. We don't have the full picture just yet, but we know what the game looks like and how numerous gameplay mechanics will work. The game will include 3 days early access, 5 paratrooper gear, and some starter assignments.

You can try out Battlefield 5 with an open beta which gets started in September. In this game, there is no such thing as a premium pass or premium purchases for pay to win etc. That led to reports that pre-orders for Battlefield V have been lower than expected. Part of the blame likely falls on EA for not promoting the game much since its May reveal but with the holiday season slowly approaching, EA will likely rev up its marketing machine. The trailer also shows off tank warfare, both what it's like to control one in the game and what it's like to narrowly escape being blown up by one, and we get a glimpse of air combat. Let's see that what other surprises the company is planning to upgrade in this version.
