Michelle Obama and Joe Biden Wrote Incredibly Sweet Birthday Messages to Barack

August 4 marks former President Barack Obama's 57th birthday and Illinois' first annual Barack Obama Day.

Michelle isn't the only one commemorating the former president's birthday today!

Another tweeted: "Happy #ObamaDay folks!"

John Legend, who is now in Indonesia with Chrissy Teigen, also dedicated a post to Barack.

Maybe Barack Obama should eat a few extra almonds tonight.

Moving forward, August 4, the former president's birthday, will be celebrated as "Barack Obama Day".

The "birth certificate" reference in the fake Obama tweet was also a callback to Trump's longtime promotion of the "birther" conspiracy theory, which claimed that Obama was not born in the US and consequently ineligible to be president.

The Illinois General Assembly unanimously passed the commemorative holiday earlier this year.

"It's incredibly proud for IL that the president came from IL".

The law, according to USA Today, was signed by Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner. "I don't think it should be a formal holiday with paid, forced time off, but I think it should be a day of acknowledgment and celebration".

And who better to lead the way than Joe Biden, Obama's former vice president.

Sharing a photo of her husband overlooking a scenic landscape, Michelle took to her social media to wish her man a happy birthday with a special post to Obama. "Last week's trip to Dog Tag Bakery was no different".
