New Pokemon Let's Go Trailer Displays a World Beyond Pallet Town

A fan site of Pokemon Let's Go released images from the CoroCoro magazine prior to its publication which has confirmed the arrival of Mega Evolutions in Pokemon Let's Go, Pikachu, and Eevee.

If a Pokémon has its associated Mega Stone and Key Stone they can Mega Evolve.

Scans of the magazine show Mega Charizard (both X and Y forms), Mega Venusaur, and Mega Blastoise, as well as the new design of Lt. Surge, which is pretty much identical to his old design. This one focuses primarily on Mega Evolutions-which we recently learned would be returning in the upcoming games-as well as a few more familiar characters and places players will encounter on their journey across the Kanto region.

There certainly wasn't any Mega Evolution to contend with back then, you just had to grind out levels until you felt you were strong enough to not get trounced by other trainers and Gym Leaders.

Each of the three can be seen showcasing their mega forms in what looks like a stadium location of sorts with something in the background that looks strikingly similar to the Gyms in Pokemon Go.

Team Rocket's infamous Jessie and James also briefly appear in the trailer, challenging the player to a double battle using their signature Pokemon, Ekans and Koffing.

Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu and Evee launches for Nintendo Switch on November 14.
